Area Sales Engineer

BDM - Utilities

The BDM will deliver incremental sales growth through design-in, specification and project management activities within those market segments and customers identified by the company as strategically important to the long term development of the UK business. This will be achieved through the direct development of new business within identified target accounts and also through the deployment of effective business development actions with Sales, Marketing and Technical colleagues. The BDM will be highly competent both technically and commercially, and will be a dynamic business professional with excellent communication skills to influence internal and external customers at the highest level. In addition the BDM will develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the identified markets, providing specialist knowledge and expertise to establish and implement successful business plans that will drive profitable sales results. The role will also be responsible for taking over the total management and development of strategically sensitive accounts within our developing System Integrator community. This is a key role within the organisation and seen as fundamental to success of the UK business in growing sales of our Ethernet and Electronics based portfolio's. Therefore strong communication and commercial skills, technical ability and a desire to succeed are seen as a must in order to make the role a success.


Business Development Manager

Role Summary
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating business growth by introducing existing propositions into new and existing markets mainly centred on the Utilities sector. This may require the setting up of strategic partnerships in order to deliver complete propositions to meet client needs.

The company is looking for a senior BDM to sell their range of BMS, security and access contol systems to primarily the multi site end users, consultants and contractors in the building services market throughout the South East and London. This is an ideal role for someone to develop their career into a possible management position.
